SCHEDULE

Morning: 2 hour Mysore Session
Mid-Day: Organic Brunch and Free Time
Afternoon: 2 hour Afternoon Session (asana clinic, philosophy, regressive therapy, meditation, and more)
Evening: Fresh, Organic Dinner
Post Dinner: 45 min – 1 hour of Chanting, Meditation, Tratak and Pranayama

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each morning will begin with asana practice from 7:00-9:00am. Under Krista’s attentive instruction you will practice the Ashtanga sequence you are doing with your teacher or in self practice at home, or you will work with Krista to learn the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga along with the sun salutations and standing and finishing postures of the Ashtanga Yoga method. The rest of the morning and early afternoon is yours to enjoy however you see fit. After a delicious organic brunch you can rest and relax, sightsee, go to the beach, lay by the pool or explore the garden.

We will meet as a group again in the afternoon for 2 hours to explore various topics from Philosophy, Breath work, Asana, Vinyasa, Technique and more. Each thought provoking, eye opening and educational afternoon session will be followed by a delicious, organic, fresh dinner. After our evening group dinner we will close the day together bringing our focus within, settling the mind and calming the body. We will devote this time to chanting, meditation and tratak.

In order to allow retreat participants time to explore the gorgeous beaches and other sites Salento has to offer, there will be no afternoon or evening session on Tuesday and Thursday.

ABOUT THE RESORT

Agricola Samadhi is a gorgeous 10 acre organic eco resort. The resort is located in the town of Zollino, in the center of Salento, south Italy. Salento is the heel of the peninsula (Italian boot) with 250 km of coastline and Agricola Samadhi is in the center of the peninsula.

Salento’s extraordinary beaches and sea shores are a mere 20 minute drive or 30 minute train ride. Agricola Samadhi features a charming park, organic vegetable garden and olive oil trees, a wide swimming pool, a children’s playground and much more.

Transportation costs:
- Taxi from Brindisi to YIS is approximately $112.00
- Car pick up from Brindisi to YIS $75.00 (arranged on request)
- Car rental can be arranged at the airport but best prices when booked in advance.
- You can rent a car or take a train from Brindisi airport to Lecce. From Lecce you can take a taxi ($62.00) to YIS, use YIS’s in house car service ($37.00) or take a local train to Zollino ($1.25) and then walk five minutes to YIS.
